World Cup 2026: Every Match, Every Channel, Every Stream
The biggest World Cup in history kicks off June 11 in Mexico City and ends July 19 at MetLife Stadium. Here’s the full schedule โ when matches play, where each one happens, and exactly how to watch from anywhere in the world.
For the first time, the FIFA World Cup expands to 48 nations split across 12 groups, with a new Round of 32 added before the knockout bracket settles into its familiar shape. Three host countries โ the United States, Canada, and Mexico โ share 16 venues, with the United States hosting 78 of the 104 matches and every fixture from the Round of 16 onward.
TOURNAMENT TIMELINEKey Dates at a Glance
The third-place playoff takes place at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami on Saturday, July 18, with the final at MetLife Stadium, New York/New Jersey on Sunday, July 19. The semi-finals are split between AT&T Stadium in Dallas (July 14) and Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta (July 15).
OPENING WEEKENDThe First Five Days
Group-stage action runs from Thursday, June 11 through Saturday, June 27. Mexico kick off the tournament against South Africa at Estadio Azteca โ the only stadium in history to host three World Cups. Here are the marquee fixtures from the opening days, with US Eastern Time kickoffs and English-language broadcaster.
Closing group-stage matchdays (June 24โ27) feature simultaneous kickoffs to preserve sporting integrity, including Czechia vs Mexico at Azteca and Jordan vs Argentina at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Full day-by-day fixture list available on our World Cup Schedule page.
KNOCKOUT BRACKETThe Road to the Final
The 2026 tournament introduces a Round of 32 โ a first in World Cup history. The top two teams from each of the 12 groups, plus the eight best third-placed teams, advance into a 32-team single-elimination bracket. The bracket uses a two-pathway system designed to keep the highest-seeded teams apart until the semi-finals.
